Crown is seeking personable, well-rounded individuals to fill the roles of Service Manager and Commercial Roofing and Waterproofing Estimator.
Service Manager:
Candidate must be experienced in built-up roofing, single ply roofing, hot applied and torch roofing as well as sheet metal and waterproofing. Ability to find leaks, prepare maintenance programs and manage roof assets for clients. Must have at least 10 years of experience in commercial flat and some residential steep slope roofing. Good customer service skills, computer skills and ability to manage a team of service crews, administrative staff and supervisors.
Other responsibilities will involve:
- Performing surveys and creating reports on roofing systems.
- Preparing proposals for maintenance and repairs for roofs
- Hire, train and manage service foreman, helpers and supervisors
- Manage service department administrative staff
- Manage billings, AR and job cost for service department
- Meet goals for revenue, gross profits and net profitabilityof department.
- Maintain relationships with clients to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Maintain fleet of vehicles for service, and inventory for tools, equipment and materials.
Requirements:
As a Service Manageryou must be self-motivated, adaptable and have a persuasive personality. You must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong active-listening skills. In addition, you must be computer literate with Microsoft office products and the use of a smartphone. Specific qualifications include:
- At least 10 years commercial roofing experience.
- Ambition to contribute like a partner with this growing business not just an employee
- Seasoned networkedin the SEFL business circles with a preference in the construction field
- Proven success in related role
- The ability to follow up with customers, maintain positive relationships and CLOSE sales
- Analytic and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
Commercial Roofing and Waterproofing Estimator
Candidate must be experienced in roof take-offs and estimate preparation with scope of work while maintaining growing new relationships and cultivating existing relationships with commercial contractors. Must have at least 5-7 years of commercial estimating experience. Waterproofing knowledge is a plus!! We will train the right candidate who possesses estimating experience in other trades and demonstrates good math, computer and interpersonal skills
Other responsibilities will involve:
- Ensuring accurate estimates, pricing, adhering to company margins
- Making sales presentations to commercial contractors
- Preparing estimates and proposals to prospective customers
- Proactively identifying and contacting potential customers
- Maintaining a positive relationship with current contractors which results being recommended to building owner as best choice
- Networking both during work hours and periodically after hours while representing the company at designated industry network groups
- Maintaining assigned sales quotas and following established company guidelines
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Evaluating site conditions and preparing project estimate
- Identifying site specific conditions which deviate from the standard project for specialty pricing
- Closing on projects and estimates delivered to the customer
- Estimating the date of project commencement for the customer based on your knowledge of production schedules
- Maintaining proper sales reports
Requirements:
As an Estimator/Project manageryou must be self-motivated, adaptable and have a persuasive personality. In addition, you must be computer literate with Microsoft office products and the use of a smartphone. Specific qualifications include:
- At least 3-5 years commercial roofing estimating experience.
- Ambition to contribute like a partner with this growing business not just an employee
- Seasoned networker in the Miami business circles with a preference in the construction field
- Proven success in closing and commercial sales is preferred
- The ability to follow up with customers, maintain positive relationships and CLOSE sales
- Analytic and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
